Meet Yvette Rock

“My work explores issues related to the human condition, injustice, loss, poverty, and race. For the past decade, I have mainly been exploring these issues in the context of the city of Detroit.” Yvette Rock, Detroit painter, collagist and photographer, sees her work as part of the Isaiah 58 call to be “repairers of broken walls and restorers of streets with dwellings.”  In an interview with Yvette, we will explore how her work within the art sector is a tangible part of that effort.

Come and find out more about how Yvette’s work (and our own) can repair our walls and restore our streets. You’ll learn how to approach your work as a blank canvas on which to join God in his creativity as we redeem our work to renew our cities. Click here to learn more and to register.
