Scripture says that we have been reconciled to God through Jesus. But because we all miss the mark, our relationships with each other are not in right standing. In fact, God has been doing the work of restoring things back to himself, bending down toward the earth and reaching out to us. But only when we recognize and admit our shortcomings  and lean on God’s grace can we begin to heal and restore the relationships around us, whether they be familial, occupational or racial.
