A walk through the city gates of ancient Jerusalem would have been a walk through the identity and culture of her people. Because the social influencers of the city came together in the gates, the indicators of the cities condition could be read there. What are the “gates” of our community and what are they saying about us? Do we think our approach to our everyday work can change the condition of the city?
